The Streaming Giant Casts Ideal Performer for Bentham in One Piece Third Season

The streaming service revealed Tuesday that the skilled actor will appear in the One Piece season 3 cast and will embody Bon Clay. Bon Clay can use their power to change into an perfect replica of anyone they’ve laid a hand on with their right hand. Escola, who is identifies as non-binary and uses they/them pronouns, will play a version of that role reimagined as non-binary, instead of as a drag performer, in the live-action show, as in the original manga and animated series.
The new cast member is joined by several other fresh additions tasked with bringing the group to reality, featuring chief Sir Crocodile, portrayed by the seasoned performer, Sophia Anne Caruso as a key member, and a familiar face, who is also part of the ensemble as the monarch of Alabasta.
